Outside of work, Mike enjoys spending time outside learning to cook on an open flame, bird watching and gardening. And when he’s not spending spare time learning sign language, you’ll find Mike swimming, reading and gaming.

Bio
Mike is a graduate of Niagara College, where he was dual trained as an Occupational Therapist Assistant and a Physiotherapist Assistant and graduated with Honors.

Mike has various certifications which have enhance his skills as a Physiotherapist Assistant including Gentle Persuasion Approach and Falls Prevention. He is always interested in furthering his education and has done so by completing a certification course involving Fitness in Oncology.

​Mike has had placements in a variety of areas around the Niagara region including Long-Term Care Facilities and the Niagara Health System. He has an interest in the healthcare field and has spent the past 5 years serving the community as a patient transfer. Mike has had previous experience with training as an assistant coach for a high school swim team.
