Lisa Miele founded LV Physiotherapy with a vision of bringing high-quality, compassionate rehabilitation care to the Niagara community. With advanced training in neurological and orthopedic physiotherapy, she has a special focus on Parkinson’s disease, stroke, and complex mobility challenges, helping individuals regain independence, confidence, and quality of life.

Lisa’s Biography

Lisa Miele is the founder of LV Physiotherapy and a Registered Physiotherapist with extensive experience in both neurological and orthopedic rehabilitation. She previously worked within the healthcare system at Hotel Dieu Shaver Health and Rehabilitation Centre and has also gained experience in private practice and home care throughout the Niagara Region.

Lisa completed her Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology and Master of Science in Physiotherapy at McMaster University. Since graduating, she has pursued extensive post-graduate training in stroke rehabilitation, Parkinson’s disease rehabilitation, acupuncture, manual therapy, and movement-based rehabilitation approaches.

Her dedication to both clinical care and community impact has been recognized through several awards, including the Niagara 40 Under Forty Business Achievement Award and multiple St. Catharines Reader’s Choice Awards for Best Physiotherapist. Through LV Physiotherapy, Lisa is passionate about helping individuals regain independence, improve mobility, and return to the activities that matter most to them.

Outside the Clinic

Outside the clinic, Lisa enjoys staying active through cycling, rollerblading, dancing, and training for triathlons. She also loves spending time with her husband and 2 children exploring the Niagara region and travelling whenever possible.

Fun Fact

When she was 17, Lisa was accepted into the National Circus School in Montreal — but ultimately chose to pursue physiotherapy at McMaster University instead.
