Bio
Alyssa Carrey is a Registered Physiotherapist who completed her Master of Science in Physical Therapy at Queen’s University after earning both her Master of Professional Kinesiology and Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology from Brock University.

Throughout her education, Alyssa gained experience across a wide range of clinical settings including private practice clinics, neurological rehabilitation, pediatrics, geriatrics, and orthopedic care. She also completed placements within the stroke and intensive care units at Greater Niagara General Hospital and in outpatient cardiac rehabilitation at Kingston’s rehabilitation hospital.

Alyssa is passionate about helping individuals become active participants in their recovery by combining evidence-based treatment with personalized care. She focuses on supporting patients in regaining confidence, improving function, and returning to the activities that matter most to them.

Outside the Clinic
Outside the clinic, Alyssa enjoys spending time outdoors with her Bernese Mountain Dog, Theodore. She also enjoys playing hockey, baking, hiking, reading, and relaxing around a campfire.

Alyssa is cousins with actor Jim Carrey.
