Bio
Alyssa is a Physiotherapy Resident who completed her Master’s in Physiotherapy at Queen’s University in 2024. Prior to this she completed her Master’s in Professional Kinesiology in 2022 and her Bachelor of Kinesiology (Honours) in 2021 both at Brock University.

Throughout her educational placements at Brock, Alyssa has had the opportunity to enhance her learning through different environments such as helping run the KidFit program at the YMCA, and volunteering as the head trainer for Brock University’s fast pitch softball team and within the varsity athletic therapy clinic. Throughout her clinical placements at Queen’s she has had the opportunity to work in multiple private practice clinics that focus on MVA, paediatric, geriatric, neurological and orthopaedic populations. As well, she has worked within the stroke and intensive care units at the Greater Niagara General Hospital and spent time working within the outpatient cardiac rehab program at Kingston’s rehabilitation hospital.

In her free time Alyssa enjoys spending time outside with her Bernese Mountain Dog, playing hockey, baking, reading a good book or relaxing around a campfire.

Alyssa aims to work with you by combining the newest evidence-based research and your own personal goals in order to restore your independence and enhance your physical function. This will allow you to become an active participant in your own recovery journey and will enable you to take control of your health and prevent future injuries.
