Bio
Sava graduated from McMaster University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) Kinesiology followed by his Master of Science in Physiotherapy in 2020.

Throughout his educational journey, Sava has gained experience with a wide variety of patient populations. He volunteered extensively at MacWheelers, an exercise program for people with spinal cord injuries, and with McMaster’s varsity soccer teams as a strength and conditioning coach. Throughout his clinical placements, Sava has worked with various orthopedic conditions in multiple private clinics, neurological conditions at Hotel Dieu Shaver, and acute care at St. Catharine’s General Hospital.

Sava has advanced his education through various courses including acupuncture, manual therapy techniques, as well as assessment, treatment, and management of concussions, shoulders, and chronic pain. He also continues to stay well-informed by reading the most up-to-date scientific literature in the Physiotherapy field to apply to his practice.

Sava aims to work together with you by combining the best research and his clinical experience with your values, goals, and interests. His treatment approach focuses on evidence-based exercise programs with manual therapy techniques to help minimize your pain, maximize your function, and speed up your recovery!

In his free time, Sava enjoys playing soccer, rock climbing, lifting weights, and training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. As an athlete who has gone through injuries himself, Sava can better empathize with his clients in a meaningful way and help encourage them throughout their recovery process. As a result, he is a strong believer in improving the quality of life for his clients through functional and purposeful exercise and movement.
